Top Dog-Friendly Restaurants and Cafés in Livingston, West Lothian

There’s nothing better than a lovely warm drink and a slice of something sweet to shake off the cold after a winter walk.  Thankfully there are several dog-friendly cafés and restaurants in Livingston these days, giving you some great options if you want to enjoy a bite to eat, a hot beverage, or even a cheeky tipple with your pet at your side.

Here’s some of my favourite dog-friendly cafés and restaurants in Livingston.

The Larder

The Larder is a social enterprise which helps people improve their life chances through training and skills development in the food sector. It’s a brilliant independent cafe, with a focus on helping the local community.

The sausage rolls, steak pies and cheese scones at The Larder are some of my favourites and everything is delicious and very reasonably priced. It’s a great option to finish off a walk around Bellsquarry Woods with your dog.

The Livingston Inn (Bar Area Only)

The Livingston Inn offers traditional pub vibes and  welcomes dogs in its cosy bar area. Situated in the heart of Livingston Village, this pub is a great stop to finish off a walk along the River Almond and around Almond Valley Farm. You can unwind with a pint of your favourite ale or a glass of wine, with your dog lounging by your side.

Do you have more favourites that aren’t on the list? Feel free to comment with your top dog-friendly spots so we can spread the word to other dog lovers in the area!
